The Team at SPC
All Physiotherapists at SPC are specialists in treating muscle and joint problems and they are all registered with the Health Professions Council. Here is some more information about our staff.
Rosemary John MCSP – Director
Rosemary trained at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital School of Physiotherapy, Birmingham between 1974-1977. She has worked in West Birmingham and Worcestershire in a number of specialist NHS hospitals, becoming Superintendent of a group in 1980. She gained experience in the Private Sector in Switzerland and South Africa. Rosemary joined Margaret at in 1982 and has worked to develop SPC over the last 25 years. She has been active at local and National levels within the Profession, sitting on several committees. Although mainly treating musculoskeletal problems, an area of special interest is that of hyperventilation syndrome.
Kay Rossano – Practice Manager
Kay comes from a background of NHS Financial Services and GP Practice Management. She joined SPC in May 2007 and is responsible for the day to day management of the clinic and its staff, and making sure that all our patients receive the best care we can possibly provide.
Lynn Guy MCSP
Lynn qualified in 1984 from the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham. She worked for 20 years for the NHS in both hospitals and GP surgeries. She joined SPC in 2003. Her clinical interests are the treatment of spinal conditions using the McKenzie method and treating musculoskeletal conditions.
Anna Curnow BSc (Hons) MCSP
Anna qualified in 1999 from King’s College London. She has worked for the NHS in the Highlands of Scotland and Cornwall. She joined the practice in February 2007. She has experience of running joint clinics with Podiatrists in the assessment and treatment of lower limb biomechanical problems. Her clinical interests are lower limb biomechanics, manual therapy, sports injuries and acupuncture.
Stephanie Harris BSc (Hons) MCSP
Stephanie qualified in 1978 from the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham and has a first class Honours degree in Health Studies from the University of Worcester. She has worked in most of the NHS hospitals in Worcester and Malvern and has been working in private practice for the past twenty years. Steph joined the practice 9 years ago and her areas of clinical interest include spinal and joint pain using traditional Physiotherapy and acupuncture.
Noël Reeve MCSP
Noël has Physiotherapy and Orthopaedic Nursing qualifications from the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital Birmingham. She worked in hospitals in Birmingham and started a pre-school clinic for disabled children. In 1975 she moved to Warwick and worked at Solihull hospital in outpatients and on the orthopaedics wards for 15 years and lectured at the world CSP conference on Total Knee Replacements. She then went on to set up her own private practice in Leamington Spa, upon her retirement 10 years ago she was recruited by SPC and has been here ever since! Her special interests include spinal and joint problems.
Roanna Tudge BSc (Hons) MCSP
Roanna joined SPC in October 2007.
